Hans Josephsohn was a Swiss sculptor known for his expressive, monumental gurative sculptures crafted
primarily in bronze and plaster. Born on May 20, 1920, in Kaliningrad, then part of East Prussia, he moved to Zurich in 1938. Over his proli c career, Josephsohn’s work focused on the human form, emphasizing raw emotion and physical presence.
